Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by the Center for Executive Development (CED) at the University of Dubai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services Overview
CED provides executive education programs, professional development courses, corporate training, and related services. Our programs are designed for working professionals seeking to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
2. Registration and Enrollment
2.1 Eligibility
To enroll in our programs, you must be at least 18 years of age and meet any specific prerequisites for the chosen program. Some programs may have additional eligibility requirements.
2.2 Registration Process
By registering for a program, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2.3 Acceptance
Registration does not guarantee enrollment. CED reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its discretion.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Fees
Program fees are as stated at the time of registration. All fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified. Fees are subject to change without prior notice for future programs.
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, and other methods as specified during registration. Full payment is required before the program start date unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 Corporate Billing
For corporate-sponsored participants, payment terms will be as agreed in the corporate training agreement.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Participant
- More than 14 days before: Full refund minus administrative fee (10%)
- 7-14 days before: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before: No refund
- Transfer option: You may transfer to another program of equal value (subject to availability)
4.1 Cancellation by CED
CED reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative program.
5. Program Delivery
5.1 Attendance
Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Minimum attendance requirements may apply for certification programs. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in non-completion.
5.2 Materials
Program materials are provided for personal educational use only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of materials is prohibited without written consent.
5.3 Certification
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of program requirements. For externally accredited programs (SHRM, CIPS, etc.), certification is subject to the requirements of the accrediting body.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Behave professionally and respectfully towards instructors and fellow participants
- Refrain from disruptive behavior
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Maintain academic integrity
- Comply with University of Dubai policies
Violation of the code of conduct may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with CED programs are owned by the University of Dubai or licensed to us. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any materials without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CED and the University of Dubai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific program.
9. Disclaimer
While we strive to provide high-quality programs, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, employment results, or career advancement. Success depends on individual effort and circumstances.
10. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Engage in any unlawful activity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit malicious software or code
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
- Collect user information without consent
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
